I got the car up on jack stands and took some pictures underneath to inspect the damage. Looks like the BMR K member and left A arm took almost all the impact, leaving everything else practically undamaged. There's some scuff marks on the bottom of the oil pan and that's about it. Even the BMR lower radiator support is undamaged. I'll make the appropriate threads listing stuff for sale soon but here's what it looks like.

FYI I already have four people in line for the transmission. I'm selling the entire swap kit just like I bought it from JPC, from flywheel to driveshaft.

OMG!!!! What the!!?? Maybe they saw the built motor and upgrades and some shmo wants your car!!

Alll you need is to replace the motor and transmission with the stock parts.
Where are your stock parts?

The buyback price is completely negotiable. Lots of info with a quick Google search.

Slap them with 4k and more than likely they will take it. You have to remember that they still would have to come pick the car up, take it to auction, and then pay auction fees. They wanted 5k for my Mach 1 and my dad hit them with $1,500 and they took it.lol It saves them a lot of time and hassle.

I just emailed him an offer of $3K and asked if he was willing to negotiate a little on the buy back amount. We'll see how it goes.

Hope you get it back for less man. Where can I find the details on your motor setup?

Go back a few months in this thread. I spent the second half of last year gathering parts and installed it in November. I have 3600 miles on the new motor.

Brian,

If you don't get the buy back, I have a crap load of stock parts. Mostly suspension. Don't have an engine though, but I may know where one is.

That's crazy. My 2013 ecoboost f150 buy back was only 10k iirc and it was only 3 months old and had only body/suspension damage.

Progressive wants $7283 for the buy back. That just ruined my fucking day.

$ 7283 for a car that has been totaled, WTF? Do they realize it was not insured for the various mods ?? What would a bone stock 2008-2009 bullitt buy back price be?

I mean really. Nobody would pay $7283 for a totaled 300 crank hp, oem bone stock car...that is now 6-7 years old. A 2011 GT was selling used for $18K..with just over 52k miles on it.

You shoulda offered em like $500.00 to $1000.00

U offered em $3K..and they offered $7.283K. You will meet somewhere in the middle.

Glad to hear your okay... I'm sure hoping they don't screw you over on the buy-back... but it sounds like they're gonna try. Stand firm!

Brian, if I were you I would delete all the comments about culpability, parts value, etc on this thread. I am not an attorney, but I do know that some of these "institutions" like to scour the Internet to find facts online to use against you later. I am just interested in CYA
