I meant that I hope you do nothing but autocross with them. I personally feel they are dangerous for anything but driving around cones in a parking lot.

Yes I do. Don't care what certs they have, without a sub belt and attaching that far away from you (rear seat area) at that angle they are unsafe for track use.

Agreed. Personally, I wouldn't do harnesses without a real seat, in the interest of not breaking up the OEM safety equipment

But, of all the "easy install" solutions I think those schroths look the best.

Placed an order last night with Vorshlag for a set of Forgestar wheels. I'll be ordering new tires soon, as well. Might as well do it right this year, yeah?

My 18x10 AMR wheels will be listed for sale soon. If anyone is interested, let me know!

You'll just have to wait until I get them mounted and installed! :p

BAH!

I'm always curious to see what color wheels people have. I went with the 18x10 +42 in matte black for years but don't like that color on my new DIB car. So I'm going with gold.

Gold on DIB? Interesting choice.

You might like silver better:

Pink, man. I had to go with pink.
Oh, cool. That'll match your 8" tall, "bubble" shift knob.

Haha, you're using "interesting" like my wife: "Oh, THAT'S and interesting outfit."

I hope it looks good, and am a little stuck now because I ordered them from Forgestar already and I'm nearly to the point of shipping.

I might also like an Accord better too. :D

Heh. Guilty as charged. Different strokes, etc.

Let's just say gold wouldn't be my first choice. But you never know. It might end up looking really good. Stranger things have happened.

Pics (once the wheels arrive) or it didn't happen. :)

Might end up looking really good, actually, particularly if you change some of the trim to match. Gotta see the pics once you've got them on.

Nothing wrong with an Accord.*

* except for the handling, the acceleration, the ride, the looks, and the driving experience.

I'll post them in another thread when they get here.

Not sure what you mean by "changing trim to match" though.

Well, as an example, the 5.0 badges are silver (unless you've changed them). Gold badges would match the wheels. Dunno if those are available, though.

For all I know, the car might look best with just the wheels being gold and the rest of the car as it is.

If subaru has taught us anything, it's that blue w/ gold wheels is pretty badass
