You hooked, but you only went 1.84 on your 13.1 ET. You should be able to drop two tenths off of that 60 foot time with all of the same equipment that you have now. To do that, you'll have to raise the launch rpm and slip the clutch. Drop down to a 1.65 60', an you'll be in the 12.70s.

No...but only if you have a tune specific for those specs...it's not a one tune fits all intakes kind of mentality. I'd personally have a reputable tuner give you a tune specific for the 110mm opening of the Airaid.

I agree, and also for your other mods, I'd order an sct tuner from a forum vendor that comes preloaded with tunes, you can just tell them all of your mods and they'll customize it for those mods.

Keep practicing and get yourself more seat time and you'll get it man.

As an example, mine with mods in sig and 3.31 gears went 12.94 added 4.10's and went 12.70 with no changes, plus you have a CAI over me so I know that certainly won't hurt.

Ok, well I removed the insert and loaded the Airaid "insert removed" 91 octane tune. Guess I'll have to wait until my next track day to see if it improved anything.

the airaid intake is a great intake i dont know why people are saying to get a better one, it can be used with the insert in for no tune required or without the insert and a tune? doesnt make sense people are just throwing info out that doesnt mean anything.. I say 4.10's and a sct tuner with the insert out on the airaid and a tune from bama or bbr and ur in the 12's for sure with good driving...generic tunes are not the way to go..get a custom tune with the ecu code and all thru the vendors listed above...good luck

Better tune
Harder launch
Power shift

+1

A few years ago I was running 12.7s @ 106.5 with a BBK CAI, Steeda LCAs, M/T Drag Radials, O/R H, and a Brenspeed tune. I removed my sway bar as well. I would have been faster if I powershifted lol. Find someone to borrow front runners from, take your sway bar off, and drive it like you stole it.

Powershift..? I have missed 3rd gear 3 out of my last 6 runs..dont think I would try to get it in 3rd without lifting the throttle! Dont know if its my shifter or 3rd gear synchro. It only does that during wot shifts.

Get a set of BBR adjustable solid motor mounts,it will help your 2nd to 3rd shift. It helped my car,no more missing 3rd.

Well went back to the track Friday night...made 5 passes...missed 2nd on 3 passes...first pass was the fastest..13.12. This is after removing the insert in the airaid and changing to the airaid tune. Replaced my 20's on the front with 15" skinnies. Still cant get faster than my 13.11 from April..

I have taken every single thing out of the trunk and inside short of removing the back seat. Got the 20's off the front for skinnies...

You ran faster than me when I was similarly modded...but there isnt a well prepped track for miles here...if only I could leave hard....I'd probably be in the 7s...LOL I just realized we have the exact same problem, you ran 13.11 and want a 12.xx with a 1.8xx 60, I did the same thing but 1/8th instead of a 1/4 lol
