I think I like the look what do you all think. I feel that I would like the look even more if I had a cowl hood.

I like it!!!!

You finally got the pics you have been wanting it. I was think that I should put it back on not sure if I am diggin it yet.

What did you use for the spoiler holes?

I used locking plugs flatten the stop and sprayed paint it black. then used adhesive silicone to get a seal around them. It is just temporary till I can get the wholes filled and painted. Pretty simple to do.

Looks sweet. What is the plati-dip process?

Pretty simple!

Take off tire put a deck playing cards next to each other around the rim and in between tire. You do this to act like a separator so you dont get your over spray on the tire. Your first coat should be very thick and spray about six inches away. I did three coats on each wheel and it turned out great! Another questions hit me up!

uh, correct me if im wrong, but isnt plasti dip a rubberized coating? doesnt seem like the ideal product to be putting on a wheel, hows it drive? seems like you could throw the wheel off ballance easily with too much of that stuff. also doesnt seem very permanent.

It is no different than painting a wheel. It comes in a spray can. I drove mine on a mountain cruise yesterday(approximately 300 mikes round trip) and it rode and drove smooth. And you are correct, it is not permanent. That is kind of the reason most people use it, so you can remove it. It peels off like a big sheet of vinyl but it very durable when applied appropriately.

How would paint affect the balance of the wheels? It cant even be more than a ounce more of weight? WOuld something like that really affect steering?

I think its unlikely to affect the balance, unless you make a real meesy job, with thick globs of the stuff one one side of the wheel. As long as its failry even across the wheel, shouldn't afect the balance. Also the closer to the center of the wheel, the lower the effect of any weight imbalance will be.

I'd like to paint a "bra" on the Savannah with that stuff...front fascia, front 8" of the hood, and front 14" of the front quarter panels.

I plasti dipped my stock rims, emblems, faux gas cap.
That stuff never comes off unless you peel it off.
However, its kinda hard to keep them clean since it is rubber coating.
