Has anyone installed the Steeda Adaptive tune ? I have read the threads voicing everyone's opinions but was was wondering if anyone has actually installed the system ( CAI, CDP, Adaptive tune). If you have would love to hear your thoughts. Perform as expected ?

'Round here we call that "Saturday." :towlwhip:

I have been trying to get someone to post up that we've setup, but the majority of them seem to be people that aren't internet type people. I can say this though, we have had zero comebacks with issues with the adaptive tunes, and we in fact now run it on all our company racecars too.

The comments I have heard from customers are that they love the driveability of the supercharged tune and how it pulls like crazy. I have been in one of our cars with it, and I can say that it's like OEM but better, which is what we strive for as a company.

It's obviously not for everyone's setups, and for the majority of people on this site it's not the ticket. However for people looking to safely supercharge their car and they don't trust or have access to a tuner, it's a win, and that's who's getting them.

The set up sounds interesting for the guy that wants up the performance of the stock gt ....to where maybe Ford should have. I have read and spoken to folks about CAI\tunes and their impressions. Lots of impressions and opinions on the adaptive tune, just would like to hear from someone that has actually purchased and installed one.

It's actually totally separate of an SCT tune altogether. See this thread for the info:

The special offer still stands. If you already have the CAI or charge motions, we can adjust the total price.

damn, only qualification I am missing for my 2008 GT is from my wallet, I will have to revisit this whole setup after the money fairy visits me.

I saw the 2010 Mustang ad copy says it can adapt to whatever octane fuel you run by using the knock sensors. So is the Steeda Adaptive Tune and the 2010+ Mustang OEM tune the same thing, similar, derivative?

The Ford one is adaptive in fuel octane only, so it does share that with ours, but that's it. Their "adaptive" tune for the Whipple kits they sell cannot adapt for a smaller pulley than what they come with, ours can.

By the way, the octane adaptive setup in the 2010 has been available already in the Bullitts.
