pulleys was a snap....followed directions and put them in...actually it was super easy to get the water pump pulley on and off there is just a certain way it has to be done, but its easy...

as far as gains, dont notice any yet, car starts easier and revs easier....the steeda pulley is heavier tho....??

You can just buy a shorter belt. Last I checked it was under $30. at Summit.

No, there would be less power. The more energy you use to spin a smaller pulley means less energy available to get through the rest of the drive train to the wheels.

i drove my car hard at the track when it was stock...and when i had just a x pipe and stock intake with diablo tune i did as well....but after i did the pulleys, super 44's, bama race 93 octane tune, and c & l race intake, i never took it past 5k.....well today i hit 6k in first and then when i shifted into 2nd and the car was amazing, the first time with these mods that i drove it like that, when it was stock the nose would dive to the sky....and the rear would sink....but with the h&r supersports the rear didnt budge and the front didnt move either....the car was more solid and just pushed like hell....it felt awesome!

Some people are more sensitive than others. Personally, I barely noticed a difference after loading the intake and tune. Supposedly that got me 20whp. I could sense an improvement but it was pretty damn minor.

Rip- I think we should pull the intake and tune dyno it, put the intake and current tune on and dyno it, then put a custome tune from me in it and dyno it. Then put the pulley's on and delete plates on and dyno it with a tune. Lets setup a time this spring to do that.

Alot of people are using the Steeda UDPs but theres also ppl out there running diff ones. Its all in ur choice of which ones u preffer

I went with the Steeda's on mt 05 GT Automatic in part because of the Technology agreement with Ford. They are high quality and the install kit and instructions make it really simple for one guy to do by himself. I had my car dynoed about 6 weeks before I installed the pulleys and again about 2 weeks after the install somehow I gained 15.75 RWHP on the same dyno. I know some of it was because it was about 15-20 degrees cooler on the second dyno pull.

I would always replace the crank bolt when ever removing the balancer pulley as recommended by Ford. These bolts actually stretch into place and shold not be reused.

The FORD part number for the new crank bolt is F5RZ-6A34Q-B and costs about $7 retail.
