I run the 29x12-15 goodyears and no rubbing at all even lifting the front end ( I am NOT lowered)

However, I just saw on Saturday an S197 with the 30x12-15 destroy his bumper on the launch...

I would say 29" is as big as you can go.

How did he wreck his bumper? tire hit it?

Holy shit... I'd be done racing if I could only get 8 or 10 passes on tires.

I sell my used ones to the Foxbody guys. Their cars are light enough that it doesn't really matter to them.

I've become the local dealer for used true 10.5's!:thud:

Damn 10.5 psi? Do you notice any excessive wadding? Do you have rim screws on them? Perhaps the stiff can deal with it easily. The goodyears wad like mad and went to tire shake at 11 psi.

Think about it for a minute. With a stiffer sidewall the tire will be more stable than the thinner sidewall so you can run it at a lower tire pressure without rattling the tires.

Montreal Qc,
Is it because I'm running my 275/40 18" radials up fromt that I can't run my 28x10.5 15" M/T E.T. Drags lower than 15psi?

Every time I try to go lower the car wants to get up close and personal with the wall.
