Has anyone had his or her stock cats blow out?
I was just curious, I don't have a fast car by any means.....but ever since my tune I've been revving to about 6k....and recently did some data logging by RPM stepping..... And I've either got a loose muffler or a stock cat has given way. lol

I'm going to check the driver side muffler today, but I just re-tightened them three days ago.

Any input?
Thanks in advance guys!

FWIW I'm still running the cats that came with the car when it was new. Over 23,000 miles with 18,000 of that supercharged. No problems.

I figured it out.....My pass side muffler keeps backing off of the over axle pipe....
I put some blue loctite on it and tightened the ever-lovin-shit out of it :p

That was embarrassing lol

OP, looking at your mods, you'll be fine, but in general, FI + cats = ticking timebomb.

I've nuked two sets of stock cats. Search here, you'll find a big-ass thread about it.
