Any opinions on stripes? or post some different stripe looks.

Super Snake ghost stripe would look good on your car.

I'm having this hood stripe put on my car sometime next week by a local business. Not sure if I'm going to like the final product or not. If I do, I'll probably have it painted next summer. If not, then it'll get taken off and I'm out some time/money.

If you come to the airport drags on the 15th, look me up and see what you think of there work.

Some stripes look horrible, some look awesome, and it's all subjective. I chose something subtle for my '11 5.0L after much thought about how to stripe the car....

Hmm, it does look good but I don't think I could ever bring myself to put Camaro SS stripes on a Mustang.

yea i was about to say the same

anyways i vote no stripes, you see how horrible the guys car with the C stripes on the side looked...yea dont be that guy, i put some design on the side of my car and honestly i took it off because it just looks better plain, unless you have a boss or shelby or something like that, then it looks good. If you do decide to do it, make them unique to your car and dont be like everyone else and copy some other car. Set yourself apart!

Well, Ford gave us '10-'12 Mustang owners a hood that looks like a Chevy cowl induction hood from 40 years ago, so why not stripe it accordingly?

That's the truth. The first thing my father said to me when he saw my '12 was..."That's a GM hood, why'd Ford put that on a Mustang?". :roflmao:

I think stripes look good I'd they are done right. I don't care for the stripes that come on the cars from the factory that don't go down the dumpers. I think that looks tacky and cheap. I agree with whoever said it earlier, thrives with the pinstripe on the outside looks good if your gonna go that route but that's personal preference/opinion

I see people put Lemans stripes on Camaros too. It doesn't look bad but I prefer to not to mix them up.

Basic Le Mans stripes (two stripes over the top of the car from front to back), as seen on the Shelby's are not a Ford specific design and date back into the '50's and possibly even earlier. Some stripes are just stripes, other designs are a bit more specific to certain cars or makes. They're all getting a bit overdone these days, IMO. At the end of the day though, to each their own.

Yes and no. Depends what you like...it's YOUR car, do what YOU want!

Exactly! Since I own a Bullitt, I guess it's pretty easy to know my feelings..;)

I've been toying with the idea of trading the Bullitt for a 2013 Boss 302. Why a 2013? The stripes can be removed, making it a solid color car...
