Are they chrome or polished? If polished and not to bad some time with a mothers powerball might take care of it.

I had a set of SSR wheels years ago that did the same thing. Unless they have changed their formula for the wheels there isn't much you can do with them. They wont polish and you can't clean really them up. I ended up sanding the bad spits smooth and having them powder coated. They lasted for a while and then started to peel again. I will never own another SSR product.

the oxidation and chipping clear coat can only be solved one way, strip the old clear, polish and re clear. Being they are forged it may be worth it to have it done, most towns have some place that does rim repair and refinishing.

Can't find one near here other than little rock or Dallas and one place said 4 to 6 weeks before I get them back. At a cost of about 650.00 these have been good wheels and I love the way they look when there right but dam.. They are 7+ years old tho.

I live up here around little rock and i know there is a couple of wheel repair vans that work the dealerships. You might have something like that around your area. Might ask some dealers.

I have asked a few friends in the car biz around here but most won't touch them because there 3 piece wheels. And those that will have to take them with them. Not real comfortable giving someone in a van my tires and wheels.
