I am dropping an assload of money to get my front bumper repainted as well as the entire car to get full clay barred and detailed. Now, my car is maybe 3.5 inches off the ground in the front and it is a PAIN IN THE ASS SOMETIMES. I want to put some kind of material on the very bottom portion of the bumper so when it scrapes, the paint is safe. I have had a clearbra on this thing before and it definitely helps but not to that extent. I was thinking maybe some painting tape just for the bottom (at least 3-5 layers) to help take some of the damage when this thing scrapes. I am trying to keep the paint in better shape. I dont care how shitty it looks driving around as long as the paint stays in good shape for shows, etc. Any ideas?

I would say to make something out of fiberglass, but you'd destroy it every time you hit something. Are you wanting to protect it from scraping or from debris hitting it?

Clear bra's are already very expensive....multi layered clear bra would be like buying a new bumper!
