Would that be a tax deduction as a gift?
I need more friends like Terry lol.
Wow. Reading this just brought a tear to my eye. OP, thank you for sharing. You seem like the type of friend anyone would be lucky to have. Enjoy the car, you deserve it.
Terry,
Your capacity to do good never fails to amaze me. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better person. I look up to you.
I consider us Long-Distance-Buddies ........
AJ,
I'm glad you see me the way you do but once again it is not as big a deal as it might appear in text on an INTERNET Site.
Bobby & I have ran around for over 6-yrs. now so we are long time buddies.
He changed from a Nerve-Wrecking Bank position to possibly add years to his life.
Since we are very close he shared with me his New-Income versus his income as a VP at the Bank he was at for many-many-yrs.
It is all true as he told it in his OP but the, Rest-of-the-Story is,
I could care less if he gave me his Bullitt for 5-6 months to drive.
I would have done the exact same thing anyway as he at this point did not have the dollars to do those changes.
I knew exactly what he was going to do as we discuss car stuff all the time.
All I did as I said was extend the months to pay back BRENSPEED for my remaining balance with them using the actual 12-Month plan.
I took the cash I was going to pay-off BRENSPEED and used it to do Bobby's 08 Bullitt Mustang.
It in no-way changed my life style at all in anyway.
Honestly once I figured out how to do it, it was a No-Brainer on my end.
