I'm thinking of either falken azenis rt615 tires or maybe a more race type tire...r888, etc.

Thanks
Thomas

Well I've been road racing R888 for past 2 years and cannot recommend them.
They get too soapy after couple of rounds on circuit and you start sliding way too much with them. They get really unpredictable after being abused on our heavy cars. I believe those were developed with much more lighter cars in mind.

Do yourself a favor and call Sam Strano. This guy knows his stuff better than almost anyone. He can give you the pros and cons of any suspension question you have, but just be prepared for the lengthy phone call!!

I agree. Sam Strano (auto-x) and Steve Poe (road racing) are both very knowledgeable racers on this forum that can help steer you in the right direction. I'm new to Mustangs (one year now...) and learned a lot from guys on this forum - saved me lots of $$$$. Good luck and welcome aboard.
