swap 2017 steering wheel to 2014 gt i want to add paddle shift

I am new to all this
so sorry if it is wrong
I am trying to add paddle shift to 2014 GT auto
I have found a used 2017 with all the buttons etc.
I believe it will bolt up ok
maybe some wire and plug modifications needed and wire the paddles
has anyone thought or tried this ?
I don't have the parts yet ... soon i hope

I did a conversion to a gt350. All bolts on and you will need to modify the wiring harness and the plugs for the airbag.

I finally finished paddle shifters on 2014 GT auto ... was not that hard in the end ...
about $ 200 and some time .
I bought a used 2016 steering wheel with paddles .
Removed the paddles and wire harness .
mounted on 2014 steering wheel .
then just 3 wires to figure out .
works and looks like factory .
I am happy to help any one
