Tachometer RPM issue after installing tune and CAI

Really not to difficult. I found the revised motors on ebay for less that $20 for all 6.

It seems most people who have issues with their cluster gauges have needles that stick, that's not my problem.

The tach needles moves without problem, it just seems off.

So my theory is that may be the tachometer needle needs to be recalibrated.

May be if I turn the needle clockwise it will fix the problem. That way I don't have desolder/resolder parts.

What do you folks think? I think it's at least worth a try.

Did someone turn it counter clock wise to create the problem? If not I doubt turning it clockwise will fix the issue.

But hey. What else you gonna do?

nearly every time the gauges are off on our cars its the stepper motor going out.

Cant say ive seen any that just outright die and do nothing, usually reading incorrectly, then maybe dead but always seen incorrect dials

First it was the fuel gauge on mine. I read that others were seeing issues with the speed gauge. That is why I replaced them all. No sense in pulling the cluster again.
