Thanks a lot man. Im really pleased with it. Cant wait to set up another session and have a go at it. My skin couldnt take anymore punishment in that area after 4 hours so we just stopped shortly after that. Hoping to make more progress next time and get the entire lower part/the other roses finished then too. Then start working on the upper arm!

Started my 3/4 sleeve today. Upper part of my arm has been done for about 4 years. Its a coy dragon for the adoption of my kiddos. Today we got the outline done for the rest of it. 5 coy fish for my 5 kids. When we get to color the kids each get to pick the color for the fish that represents them.

My buddy free hand sketched the whole thing right on my arm.

Great sleeves guys! Some incredible detail and color in those.

Sat for a couple hours today. The cover-up is nearly invisible.

that back piece is crazy Laura, lots of detail work in the scales. What was it covering?

I dig the koi fish Synister500, your friend can freehand very well!

sick sleeve 5spdgt07, love the theme

I've got a couple celtic tats on me, armband (design of a ring I bought while in Ireland) and a back piece (celtic tree of life). Will get the missus to get some pics when I can. Getting another tat on the other shoulder soon-ish. Simpsons theme, Fighting Hellfish. Ive drawn it out, just need to find an artist. Anyone know a good one near gainesville/ocala FL area?

Awesome sleeves guys and your back is looking great Laura :thumb:
Cheers!

Thanks! My guy did all the detail(scales) freehand. It's covering up an older dragon I got when I was 18 that I ended up hating.

I read the book, it was very good, haven't seen the movie yet. I'm actually reading the second book, "The Girl Woh Played With Fire." Seems pretty good so far.

Zman the books are great and there are actually two different versions of the movie out. There is a European version, dubbed into English, that follows the books fairly closely and is very good. There are also European versions of the other 2 books. The Hollywood version is also good but it changes several thing from the book.

Coming along nicely, looks great man! How is your dept regarding tattoos?(you're a FF/medic, right?) I know a lot are very strict about them showing. Our Chief is pretty cool about it. As long as they aren't "offensive"(swastika, nudity, etc.) we can have them showing. I know "offensive" is kind of vague and anything can be deemed offensive, but at least they don't make us cover them up.

Both jobs I have (paramedic and addiction counselor at a local psych hospital) are great about it. Like you said as long as its not vulgar (nudity, racist, ect...) it can be exposed. The funny thing is the person getting tattooed before me last night was my boss' wife! He made me an hour late getting started so I made him cover my call shift till I was finished haha!
