Hey guys. I had a fellow tell me you can install the 2010-2012 TCI streetfighter shifter in a 2005-2009 s197. He said all you have to do is trim the console a bit. Anyone on here know if that’s correct or not. Thanks in advance.

I’d like to know also. I’ve heard you need to enlarge the hole in the console, and get a 10-12 bezel. The mounting points and shift cable are the same. So says the intranet.

I have one of the first ones for the 05-09 models and I don't believe the bezel is wider but it is longer for the newer cars. Good luck sourcing a bezel, though modifying the shifter shouldn't be too much trouble. It'd be easier to buy a used center console and chop that (so you can go back if you want in the future). If you don't care about the selector window, you could buy a big leather boot and an aluminum bezel from a manual shift fabricator (UPR or the like).

Thanks. Can you confirm if the shift cables are the same to connect to trans?

Same type of connector? Yeah.
Folks at TCI are decent to talk to (at least, they were the last time I dealt with them...about 5 years ago). You can always call them up and have a chat about the mechanicals.
