Hopefully this will be the final build.

76mm Precision Turbo with all the bells and whistles, and an E85 conversion.

Looks good so far! What are the specs on the engine itself for those of us who may have missed it in previous threads? What are your goals with the 76?

Also, where'd you get the front bumper support?

Numbers wise, on E85 at 17psi mid to high 700rwhp, at 21psi probably mid 800. I am think we can squeez a high 8 pass in the quarter with 21psi, but we will only get a couple of passes to try and hit that number, the chassie is not certified and won't be until winter. We will run the car at around 14 or so psi until the chassie is certified, but even at 14psi we should be mid to low 10's. Plus I am going to have to learn how to drive the car all over again LOL

The engine is a Ford racing aluminator block low compersion, ford racing stage 2 head, all smog shit removed, ford racing intake and throttle body, ID1000 injectors, 127350 brenspeed cams (those may be getting replaced for custom turbo cams) new return style fuel system, no a/c, the suspension has been completely redone, no rear seat, new racing seats up front, god I really can't remember all of it. But the car is pretty light, with the saleen s/c it weighed 3400lbs, but we had a 10gal ice box in the trunk, and the saleen itself is pretty heavy, so it should be less than that, how much, I am not sure.

goals? Not sure, I would love to run high 7's but that is a long way off. As for now I just want to drive the car, seems like it has been in the shop forever waiting on parts.

Very nice...what are you running for a trans?

Can't wait to see how she runs with the 76. I keep going back and forth on 67 or 76 myself.

I am running an FB performance built 4r70w with a manual valve body, trans brake, and a locking converter, stall is set to around 3500rpm. I can't wait to drive it, I am sure it will scare the shit out of me on the first few passes.

:boobies:

If that is truly the goal, the car will have to be redone front to back. 25.5 cage, probably a PG or TH400 trans, 9 inch rear, etc. A cage certified for 8.50s is not quite as involved.

That is what I am worried about, I really don't want to redo the car again. I still like to drive the car on the street once in a while. I am sure I will be happy with the car running 9's for now.

Have you driven a turbo car?

LOL No. The car originally had a Saleen SC on it, then a Procharger F1R, now the turbo.
