I have a 2005 GT, 5 speed, with a FRPP CAI and procal tune. Nothing special just my daily. Well, today I went out to run to the store and when I got in and tried to fire it up it cranked and started then sputtered and died. I tied to start it again and it just cranked. I ran the codes and got a P0191 fuel pressure rail sensor performance problem, a P0316 Misfire detected during first 1000 engine revs and a P1233 Fuel pump driver module disabled. I pulled the vacuum line off the FPRS and it didn't smell like fuel so i figured that was fine, the P0316 is because it was getting no fuel and misfiring. So this has me leaning toward the fuel pump or the driver module going bad. I did hit the fuel pump relay and reset it and the car fired right up. I drove it around for a few miles and got a 5K pull to get on the fwy and it ran fine. Over the last 6 months or so I did have one or two hard to start conditions which i attributed to me not having the clutch fully depressed but now I am thinking maybe this is slowly going tits up on me.

So what do you guys think? What should I check out next? Do you think it is the fuel pump going bad? I have never replaced it and the car does have 119K on the odo.

I have seen the fpdm plug become intermittent over time from vibration, make sure its fully seated and help it stay seated with a couple zipties is what I would do/check first.
