I just broke a Roush tensioner in half and after reading up I found they were only good for 500HP and Im over 700 at the crank. Has anyone broke a Thumper HD racing tensioner? Has it solved belt slip issues? I'm running a KB on 18lbs and 8 rib set up. Thanks

Better than a thumper and a fraction of the cost. The Frankentensioner.

Thump belt tensioners are 100% billet. You'll break the belt before you break one of his arms. Ordered one for my project, top quality piece. The stock cast aluminum arms are a known weak link for sure.

I trashed a UPR arm in a few dyno pulls, maybe it was defective. Replaced it with a Thumper and got a little more tension with it.
