Mine tick's also. Has since the day I picked it up. I will worry about it if it breaks.

Hopefully its normal valve train (vct) noise or maybe injectors?? But I hope its nothing along the lines of the LS1 and their "piston slap" debacle .
A lot of noise could be from the injectors. I turbocharged my 05 v6 mustang and used the blue cobra injectors, those things were loud. It was hard to hear any other slight noises the engine was making over the loud constant ticking of the injectors.

Na, stock injectors have sound insulation around them and are under the trim cover, cant even hear them. Its definitely sounds like valve train if you have the 'ignitor tick.'

The injectors that come with the Roush kit are very loud though, you can hear them plain as day, but still not as loud as the tick most are talking about.

Yeah, and also thinking about it this engine tick is a bit random where as an injector tick is consistent.

My engine's ticking is inconsistent. I took it to the dealer, and it ticked, and then when I took it back for the appointment, it stopped while the dealer was looking at it. Fortunately, I have a paper trail in the event that something bad does happen to my motor. The motor runs perfectly fine, however.

Next time I change my oil, I'm going to try putting in 5W-30 instead of 5W-20...

Mine started ticking again. It seems to be really intermittent, though. It does it sometimes and sometimes not.

Mine started ticking around the 4,000 miles mark. I changed the oil at 4500 miles. Went to Mobil One, 5W20 as required. Still ticks. I added Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer at 6100 miles and two things happened. The tick went away and I felt a noticeable increase in performance.

Now, after all the driving I've done over the last three weeks or so, I have 7400 miles on the car. The performance increase I felt from adding the Lucas is still there, the engine is still running smoother than it had before the Lucas, but the ticking is back. Not quite as loud as it was before, but it's there.

I can only hear mine tick at idle while stopped. Haven't heard it while driving. Haven't taken the car in either. I've had mods on it from the first week of ownership, so until something let's go, I'm not going to worry about it. If the engine does let go, I'll return it to stock and let them try to tell me an after-market tune or parts caused it. There are a hell of a lot of fully stock 5.0's out there with the same tick, so I'm not worried about it. And if Ford voids my warranty, I'll just build a forged Coyote to put back in it.

Mine has the #1 tick (on occasion). The ticking is not rhythmic; it is slightly random, like popcorn cooking off. The rate of the ticking increases with engine RPM, however.

I cannot hear anything in the second video. All I can hear are the injectors.
