I'd be highly interested in a group buy as well, as long as it ends after I get back from training in August...

^Damn you!!! LOL. I want one sooo bad! Such a sick hood! Did you get in on the group buy or just buy it straight up yourself? Does it need much prep work for painting? I AM going to get one!!!

I bought it from a guy used, he had it on his B302 but then traded the car in on an M6. It looks very good, fit is pretty close, still needs a few tweaks after paint.

Dunno how much prep it will take but I have heard that the TR hoods are better than most, at least the fiberglass version.

The CF is not intended for show and will require a fair bit of prep which could end up eliminating the weight saving benefits of this version. If you want a show hood go for the fibreglass version.

Here's a little reminder of what you'll be getting if you go for the CF version...

I don't necessarily need a show quality finish, but I'll probably go with the fiberglass anyway as I'm primarily looking to reduce underhood temps. The weight savings is just a bonus.

I have the carbon version but have noticed some cracking in the paint. Not sure if it was because of improper prep by the painter or because the hood flex's while at speed and the paint just does not flex enough....... Other than that have said it before and will say it again, I love this hood!!!!!!!

I'm working on a group buy at the moment. I have me and two others through a mustang shop locally here. I dunno if the shop will let me say their name but I'd love to get a bunch of these. They said any year. Crapper is I don't have prices yet. I think they are in Canada this weekend for the WC.

I'm in for a group buy...

Talked with both today, Paul and the group buy shop. Sorry 99 to 04 guys they hope to start production again on your hoods next month. Paul is super busy and work and with Tiger, very understandable. 99-04 will be CF and FG and be able to use hinges, yes! Now the 05 to 09 guys, GT's and GT500's, CF is 14 to 15 lbs and FG is 22 to 24 lbs. Hinges are ok to use as well.

No word on group buy as of yet. Group buy shop is sending CA licensing and paperwork to Tiger and then we'll get a price for each. The shop said they will put up pictures and send emails for the hood group buy tonight.

I was dumb and didn't ask about 10 to 12... I suck.

I'll post links when I see the info on the webs and it's more than some yokel (me) trying to get a hood, lol.

sigh, why did my motor have to detonate while there's a group buy potentially forming on these hoods? Oh well. I'm getting one of these when I'm back on my feet.
