i'm interested in the 2 vs 4 hood pin placement. why aren't 2 enough? is the reason for 4 only because there so happens to be 4 bumpers on the stock hood?

4=safety...redundant systems. If one fails, you have a back up. See Ch4r1ie's post below:

...To secure these hoods and reduce flex, one pair of hood pins should be fine but, as mine is a track only car, I run two pairs. I use and recommend AeroCatch's....

I did not even get to see the underside of my hood. My body guys already had it painted!

You have the CF version right? Why did you have the underside painted? That would of taken a lot of prep work and would have added a fair bit of weight too!

Sorry...I didn't get to see the underside as it was taped off...not painted...only the top was painted. They added some flex additive.

My point was that I never got to see the hood (top or bottom), as the top was painted and still in the paint booth...sorry for the confusion!

Ahhh... that makes more sense! Enjoy the hood mate, it's a beautiful bit of kit ;)

Nemustang, Your hood looks exactly like mine. I have it all black. Hope the flex works for you. The crack on my hood continues to grow and they supposedly added flex. I hope to lay some flat black vinyl in the near future.

Hey Darkside - I sent you a PM about your hood and if you needed to lower your GT500 engine for the supercharger to clear. Let me know. Love you car BTW looks sick.

Got the new hood on...I noticed significant less drag and more downforce while driving 40 mph...ok, seriously...The hood just looks damn sexy! The CF version is a little wavy, especially in black, as expected. The hood fit perfectly upon bolt on...no adjustments necessary. I have AeroCatch latches on the way, so right now I simply cut and disconnected the washer line, removed my Redline struts, bolted on the original latch and use the old hood prop.

I had a clearance issue with my Ford Racing/Steeda CAI. The aluminum shield hits on one of the louvers. I simply removed it at the body shop while we installed the hood. It looks like I may have to simply cut a small area of the shield (not the louver) to clear the hood.

I didn't have to lower mine and I'm running a Roush TVS and the 11+ GT500 Strut bar. The strut bar used to rub on the hood liner on the stock hood. No issues with the Tiger Racing Hood.

any ideas for a white paint scheme? all white with black louvers?

That was my plan if I ever came arcoss $1000, lol

But the louvers flat black and following the lines they make all the way to the windshield. Just Like Justin Bell's:

^Justin Bell was the stand in driver for the Tiger Racing team owner Paul Brown, who was unable to drive due to ill health. Justin also managed to very nearly kill the car completely. Just sayin'.

We made these to compliment the new FG TR hood.
Show, go, functional and safety enhancing.

Don't have any pics right now, but just drill out the center of the round pad in the hood enough to let the pin through (don't make this hole too tight) and then use the pin as guide as to where to drill through the upper layer of the hood (this hole should only be as big as the hole in the hood pin plate).
