tire question

ok I was looking at going with some gt500 rims from american muscle/ I was going to with a 18x9 with a 255-45-18 in front and a 18x10 with a 275-40-18.. Will this be a good look..

No, the front tires will be about .34" taller. Go with 285/40/18 and depending on what company you go with the tires will be the same size or the rears will will only be .03"shorter.

Oh ok the tire brand that I wil be going with through american muscle is Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tire

I have not personally run the sumitomo, but I have read more negative review than positive. Nitto NT555 and BFG KDW NT are two good choices.

Those would be short as hell. If he is not lowered he will have too much wheel gap. If he did lower lower it, I would assume that the car would be too low the ground.
