Please be patient as I want to try and get it settled. We purchased a 2011 Mustang gt/cs convertible 5.0l with 24k miles. It had a 1" Eibach lowering springs front and rear, and having tire rub in wheel well. I'm thinking the springs are no good car has too much bounce and also bottoms out when hit a dip or bump. Tried new KONI STR shocks didn't solve problem. Changed the springs to BMR springs still same problem I have no issue bouncing car up and down with my hands. Is there a stiff spring out there that I can purchase to fix this issue thanks

What offset/back spacing do you have with your wheels? I think your wheel/tire combo is more likely the cause of your rubbing than lowering springs.
I have the same suspension and don’t have the bouncing. Did you actuate the shocks before installing? A full compression and uncompression several times to ensure the gas is distributed?

Yeah. My car is dropped 3 inches, sometimes more, with a lot of wheel and tire. No rubbing.
No I didn't do that to the shocks unfortunately. Running 295/35ZR20 with 7" back spacing offset 40mm according to the wheel on back. I see lots of others running 305 to 315 with no issues. My buddy's car we can't even push his down but he has a 2021 Mach 1 but his suspension is stiff. My car bottoms out a fair bit. I had a set of 275/35zr20 tires I put on back to check still rubs not as much but I think the suspension is too soft. First mustang btw so all new I built jeeps so I raise them not lowering lol
Can you tell me the secret I don't mind spending money but not on the same thing to try and stop it. I have new set of bmr springs here now and no good
What are you running for wheel and tire set up and suspension
7" back spacing think offset is 40mm Ford installed the shocks so I can't say they did or not but my car has way too much bounce

Is your rub on the outside of the left rear tire? 40mm is a pretty agressive wheel offset for a 295 on the back of these cars and if your axle isn't perfectly centered (most are offset slightly to the left from the factory), I would expect it may rub there.
As you mentioned, a 305/315 will fit out back but IIRC, that requires an offset in the mid to high 50s.
Yes it rubs up inside wheel well as well as the wheel well edge. I purchased the car with this set up. There are 275/35ZR20 on the front, it also came with 2 extra of those so I put them on the rear wheels. I can't hear the rub no more but my problem is that the car has too much bounce soft suspension. Huts really hard on rear. Tire rub not my issue it's the bounce. I have no problem pushing up and down on the car with ease. Thought it was shocks but replaced those and still as bad

Yes they have been changed to Eibach bump stops

If you have replaced both springs and struts (and different brands), there’s really nothing else I can think of that could contribute to a bouncy rear end the way you describe.
My only thought would be to remove the rear shocks and actuate them to see if they are actually damping.
My Eibach Pro Kit and Koni Oranges (STRs) only have a few inches of travel when I press down on the rear, certainly no bounce and that’s with the added weight of the vert.

If just one then the axle may be shifted over a bit due to the lowering spring. This is very common. AHaze noted centering of the axle is important with wider tires. Is an adjustable Panhard bar installed? If so, you can shift the axle to eliminate the rub.
[edited to correct back spacing (I originally used 'offset' - incorrect). Added nod to AHaze for axle 'centeredness'.]

Yeah I find it strange as well. I had dealer install the shocks so I don't know if they actually actuated them. I'm gonna say they didn't. Would that mean that they are toast now. What size wheel and tire set up are you running

Driving as long as you have would probably prime them if they needed to be primed, so I wouldn’t worry about it at this point.
That's what I was thinking they probably have over 1000km on them now .
