My mom smacked a curb recently in her 09 Grand Marq. Had to remove band/sensor to have rim redone.
First I'm amazed the batteries work in all of them (all original), as current sensor batteries are good for 5-7 years.
Second, I got a new band kit to remount to the wheel. I don't see anything that special on those rims that you could
not attach a band to the inside of newer rims. Any mostly flat area inside rim should be good enough.

My tires are date code 0207. I'm gonna need newer ones soon. I was wondering about sensors as well. No red lights at this point. I believe 07 had TPMS.eels I picked up last year, 19X9/10. Seems either would work with those band sensors,
on that flat area.

Forscan will turn off TPMS. Turned it off on several Fords.I replaced my 17 " band type wheels with 19 " gt rims from 2016 gt.
What is the best fix / recalibration? Getting tired of lights and buzzers.
