Hey guys!! I finally got my last wheel in today from AM, I stretched them out over a couple of months so that by the time I needed new tires I'd have all 4 wheels, but anyway. They all look brand new except for this last one. It has a couple scratches/scrapes on it, but I don't want to be the guy to complain, but if someone saves up for something they really want and finally get it wouldn't you want it to be 100% nice? Anyway.. here are some pictures let me know what you guys would do. There are also a couple of scrapes/scratches where the tpms straps go, but you'd never see those anyway. Thanks guys!

if its something you will see go ahead and get it replaced. AM has very good customer service so they will be happy to help you out. But its up to you if you can live with it or not.

that's a tough call.. i'd probably go ahead and get it replaced, but on the other hand, you're not going to see that with a tire on it.

I've had really bad luck with having tires mounted at local places and them not dicking up the wheels, so if it were me, I'd probably run with it, as I'd likely end up with that or worse just from having tires mounted on them.

Unless you're running undersized tires, that will be covered anyway. You could polish it up with some 1500-2000 grit sandpaper just to smooth it off and you'll never see it again.

I sure wouldn't - if I'd saved up my money for rims and one came scratched, I'd ask for a replacement. Otherwise, I'd stare at that scratch every time I walked by my car.

If it were worse, I'd have no issue calling AM about it. But that really isn't a big flaw, and I agree, it'd be hard to see, if at all, when tires are mounted. Tough call.

I had some very small nicks and scratches on two of the four wheels I bought from AM a while back. They didn't hesitate to replace them. They'll want some pics emailed first. They'll send out the new ones first, then you send back the old ones. They covered all the shipping. Very stand up company in my book.

Contact them, send pics and see what they offer... replacement or perhaps a partial refund.... but definately let them know about it.

I would say to check it out with them. From a company standpoint, their reputation can make or break them so its really important to them to make it right for you regardless of what company it is. If your unhappy with the product you are unhappy with the company. Most reputable company's like AM prefer to know about these things, even if you decide you are ok with it.

Even if you do decide not to have it replaced, they can up their quality control, change their packaging/shipping methods if necessary etc and know they are preventing future unhappy customers.

My 2 cents coming from a company that would prefer to know a customer is unhappy before it becomes an issue ie a lost customer.

This. Even though you'll never see it and the tire install person will probably fuck it up even more, I'd still be a little upset.
