Anyone use these on a 2008 GT? Wondering if they'd be any good for drag racing/street? I picked up a nedw/unused set cheap awhile back. Just not installed yet. Don't know if you can adjust lto a 90/10 for front???

Do a search and you'll find LOTS of posts about these :)
I use the D-specs and really like the adjustability for track and street.

So the Tokico's should work pretty well for drag racing then....cool

Tokico i just installed and I love them especially when i dropped the car and added 20's, if you have rough city roads , then you definitley want these

I dunno what is being asked here, but the adjustability of the D-specs is nice.

The D struts are great are a great option. However if the car is going to be a track monster, the D-struts would not be the best choice, although they are a great choice for drivability. The problem with the D sturs and track situations are they dont let the front end come up as fast as a coil over set up would. The goal on the track is to get that weight transfer. With that being said, I have run plenty of 10 sec passes on D-struts, however I do believe that was more because of the total suspension/Hp the car had. Overall you wont be happy, but do not expect it drastically change you 60's, although they should improve a little. Also, remember each car is different, so unfortunately you will never know until you try.

Let me know if you need anything.

not sure what's being asked either, but on mine i run the front at 7.5 turns out (that's as loose as they go) and 5 turns out on the rear at the drag strip. everyday street driving i do 4 turns out front and rear. not too soft or stiff

Seems to me the instructions/recommendations that come with the D-specs says "all out" in the front, "all hard" in the rear. Idea being the adjustment you actually get is rebound adjustment. Softening the front lets the front come up as much as it is going to as quickly as it is going to, resulting in weight transfer to the back. But not much. Hardening the rear leaves the back to go down as it always would (not much), but slows the return, resisting return of weight to the front as much as it can (not much).

I did notice an improvement in 60-foot times on the car I had them on, when I adjusted them as noted: soft front, hard rear. But not much.

Otherwise, the D-specs did a remarkable job on roadability and autocrossing, with Steeda Sport springs. Good investment for all-around Mustanging, not so much if you want something extreme in the drag racing arena.

No problem here.

With your FI Auto they will work just fine even with the front sway still bar on. If you want more lift then take it off. I run the car ~ 3.5 - 4.5 up front and -3.5 or so out back depending on weather conditions and routinely cut 1.6 60'. Believe me...if you go full loose that front end is going to pop straight up and suprise you. With my suspension mods...LCA,UCA and relocation brackets the car went from wheel hopping high 1.8's to low 1.7's. Added the Steeda UL springs with D-specs and the suspension is all good..1.6's, high 1.5s in perfect conditions. The car just lifts up 6-8 inches and goes. You can't even tell when I shift the car at all, its all quiet through the gears.

Hell, a unused cheap set sounds like a good deal with those springs and suspension you are planning to install.

You really need to experiment since each car is probably a little different. On the street I run mine about 2.5 out in front and back but each has their own tastes.

For the strip I run 0 - .5 on back and 6-7 in front. I have Eibach Pro springs and consistently get 1.6x 60's. Got a 1.60 last night - best ever there.

Mine's a manual though so the auto may be completely different 8-]

What is your 60ft goal? I was cutting 1.5s with my set up, running the d struts. If is doable, and as I said before you will be very happy.

Personally I set them up how I wanted them at the track, and what also worked on the street and never messed with them after that. However that is just me, some people would rather constantly change the settings back and forth but I am to lazy. Besides, my car always hooked no matter where I was, Street/strip.

Get the D struts and figure out what works best for your car! Good luck and let me know if you need anything at all.

I have the Steeda Adjustable Suspension on my car because I wanted the car to drive great on the street and still perform at the Track .
The Steeda Adjustable suspension works incredible and it uses D-Specs .

My car runs ONLY on DRAG RADIALS wont use slicks again ever .

The car gets consistant 1.40 60ft times .

Keep this in mind , I have changed my Shock set up three times , I had the BEST SHOCKS AND STRUTS on the PLANET for Drag Racing , but for everyday driveability I think they were not designed for that so they started to leak on Me . My Santhuff Struts and Shock were about 3500.00
and I switched back to the D-specs.
For the way I drive the car on the street and the track I cant say enough about them Im very happy.
Earlier this year when I won the 10.0 True Street at Bradenton my 60ft times were , 1.413, 1.413 and 1.409. Nuff said.
