I keep a man purse in the trunk. Sockets, basic hand tools, some wire and connectors, fasteners, a hand-crank flashlight, a small bottle of WD40, spare belt, and of course...

It has saved my ass on the side of the road more than once.

I was going to just go with an extra belt and 1/2" breaker bar but I might throw a 3/8" socket set as well.

For a while I was keeping a toolbox behind the seat of my F-150 with all the standard/metric sockets, combo wrenches, extensions, and screw drivers.

Nothing in the Mustang.

Honestly, I feel like "Built Ford Tough" is still true enough that I don't have to worry. If I do break down, my brother in law or uncle can be to me with their trailer within 30 minutes of anywhere I go.

How many of you guys keep tools in the trunk? And what do you have?

Back to the tools. I have a rubbermaid tote/storage container with a full socket set, torque wrenches, crescents, pliers, panduits, dikes, breaker bar, plugs, tensioner, several idler pulleys in different sizes, flashlight, air compressor, booster cables and some other stuff.

This, combined with about 50 lbs of dynamat and a 6'1" 215lb driver add up to 3960lbs on a certified scale.

Oh, I also carry two of these bad-boys that I got at Advance Auto. Each one has four sizes, so you carry two tools and you get 8 socket sizes. Very fucking handy!

I keep all my track tools in there all the time. Some sockets, good jack, duck tape, flashlight, swiss army knife.

leatherman multi-tool, tire gauge, and recently added a flash light.

I keep everything I need to remove this stupid blower lol. I also carry what I need to remove the sparkplugs. Hammer, adjustable wrench, screwdriver, sockets, hose clamps, 200 grit sandpaper, flashlight, ratchet wrences, various size tubing and a baseball bat to hit myself when it gets bad enough lol

No tools. Roadside assistance card located in glove box. Outside of a flat tire I figure let the professionals fix it. 7yr/70,000mi warranty is good for piece of mind, bad if you wnat to MOD :-(
