If you want your tr 3650 to last only use merc dex III in it. I won’t even use Mercon V. I have a 2005 mustang gt with 102000 miles that still shifts perfect. Hell I still have the original clutch that still grabs hard.
Seriously. Do not use anything else. Don’t use Mobil 1. Don’t use synchromesh no redline and no synthetic. Dex III Merc only!

Ford seems to have decided (this week) that Mercon V is the one to use. I'm being facetious about the "this week" thing as it has changed many times.
