trans brake 55r5s question..

I tried searching, but I found nota..Is there Transbrake available for our 5r55s's? If so, would the stock valve body be used? Thanks in advance..

Nothing yet. P/A is working on one but it isn't available at this time.

from what i understand they have it and are testin but it keeps frying the trans...

if footbraking actually brakes the input shafts, cant imagine the kick of a trans brake lol ....

Thanks guys..foot braking really doesnt do it for me. If I want to really launch, I need a trans brake. I just put a converter in (from Chris w/ PTC), so leaving at idle will be alot better now.

Obviously never launched off of a real converter.

Or a clutch pedal, McLeod Soft-Lok clutch assembly, and a Jerico.

i know what you mean man. my girl is catching on pretty damn quick and i have to throw her a curveball here and there to throw her off. i just told her i sold my axlebacks for 350 bucks and using that money to buy a used shortblock haha


only way i can pull off buying stuff for the car is selling something off the car to cover the next purchase.

I tell it to her face...I wouldnt say anything on a forum that I wouldnt say to her or anyone else for that matter in person. She knows I have spent some jing on the car. exactly how much? Only person that knows is good ole #1..Now I would be an idiot if I posted how much Ive spent total. If she saw that, then she would have some firepower..
