SOLD

For Sale Tremec T-56 Magnum XL

*********************************************************
Edit for those that don't bother to read:

-First pay, first serve.

-$3400. Yes, the price is firm. I will not come down on it, even a little.

-I will not ship. I will not drive to meet you.

-It is in Ypsilanti, MI

-Cash only on pickup. No PayPal period. If want to pay for it and pick it up later send me a check or make a bank transfer.

-No warranty at all in any way shape or form.

Located in Ypsilanti, MI

This trans has about 750mi on it. It’s never been launched with traction (tires just go up in smoke) and I have never missed a gear.

I’m going to put this up for sale for 30 days as PICK UP ONLY. If after 30 days it doesn’t sell I will consider shipping it. Not before.

Everything is being offered up for sale as one unit. I will not separate parts out (clutch, bleeder system, loop, etc).

There is absolutely no warranty on any of the parts in this trans kit. Because transmissions, clutches, etc can be wrecked by improper install, one missed gear, etc there is no way I can provide any sort of warranty. If that is not a risk you want to take this is not the trans for you.

This is the 2.66 1st gear ratio trans. Here are all of the ratios:

1st 2.66
2nd 1.78
3rd 1.30
4th 1.00
5th .74
6th .50

Included in the “kit”:

-Tremec T-56 Magnum XL 2.66

- McLeod RST clutch

-Dynotech aluminum driveshaft

-Custom driveshaft loop built into trans support

-Custom billet aluminum/urethane exhaust hangers (it doesn’t come with any normally)

-I modded the shifter so it has no rubber in it. No mushy feeling with this one. See pics.

-Custom slave cylinder bleeder system. With this system you don’t have to pump the clutch pedal 6 billion times to bleed it, and wonder if it ever fully bled. This bleeds just like brakes do. It’s really nice, really fast and you know that you got all the air out. If you don’t want to use this system and go “stock” you can do that too.

-Flywheel in picture not included.

$3400 paid in cash on pickup. This is 100% non negotiable.

What else would be needed to swap from a 3650 in a 2007 gt? Is the electric lockout stuff include too?

I've put 4 of these in friends cars and we have never hooked the lockout thing up. I think you run it to the brake switch or something. From what I understand it's not a "parts" thing. It's a "just have to do it" thing.

Wish it didn't have the 2.66 first gear. That's really tall and would require me putting 4.10 gears in the rear at least.

Its not hard at all imo, I did a tr6060 swap in my tr3650 car. Pretty strait forward, I would recommend a stainless clutch line and remote mount reservoir though. I used a gto setup...

The custom bleeder system is all stainless.
