Troubleshooting led headlight bulb replacement

Hello everyone, just bought an ‘06 GT (my first mustang ever!) and I need some help tracking down a replacement for my LED headlight bulb.

In my research, I’ve found all different kinds of bulbs, connections, canbus?, etc and it feels overwhelming.

To pass inspection, I need to put a complete exhaust system on it (just arrived today), and get this headlight working. Other than that, it’s tons of fun to cruise in! I appreciate any help!

Please see attached, I have no idea about LED’s, these connections, and how to find a replacement to get this on the road legally. The information just feels overwhelming to me right off the bat! I’ve searched all the numbers on the light and google doesn’t pull anything up.

For inspection purposes, I would just put a cheap pair of halogen bulbs back in it. Most of those drop-in LED headlight bulbs are technically not DOT legal.

Yeah those look to be eBay or Amazon aftermarket.

If the factory harness connectors are not cut a simple OEM bulb should work.
