trunk tick after opening with key fob

Ok so I recently noticed that after I close my trunk, I hear a tick noise coming from the trunk. I use my key fob to open it, if this make any difference. I have had my car since February and have never noticed it before, but the trunk still opens fine. I would just like to know if I am looking at replacing the striker or if this is a standard. Any help will be appreciated.

I didnt have this problem up until maybe a year or so ago but it still locks fine. When I hear it I always grab the trunk lid and pull just to make sure it closed anyway.

I have that exact same noise. It wasn't always there. Been 6 months now or so.

I'm just wondering if anyone had ever had a problem where the lock stopped working?

Like it wont actually lock? Thats a known problem with our cars.

Sounds more like the electric actuator might be going bad
