Anyone have this link handy? I've done a search and can't find it. My car just hit 60k miles and I'm just coming into the know about the problem with the 05 Sparkplugs. I'm getting kind of worried, knowing they should be replaced and with that kind of mileage and build up I'm fearing I might break one or two or so on...

HELP!

My neighbor just did his with 80K on the clock. Used carb cleaner - no issues getting any of them out.

Did Ford change the design or correct this problem on the following years?

Supposedly they changed it in 08. Use the search button though, there's a billion threads about it, I just wanted some opinions from guys who have done it with higher mileage vehicles like mine.

I brought my car to an experienced shop to have my plugs changed and even with letting them sit for 2 days with some liquid wrench or something of the sort before trying to remove them, 5 of the 8 broke in the heads. My car has 93k miles on it f.y.i. and it's an 05 model.
