last week a friend and i had installed a upr tubular k on my 08 bullitt. since the tubular k+poly motor mounts install the car in nearly impossible to get into gear from a dead stop after the clutch has been disengaged/the car put in neutral. when the engine isnt running it rows through the gears no problem. when the engine is running, and i finally manage to get it into gear it goes through the gears no problem. its just when i come to a stop and throw the car in neutral i can barely manage to get the car back into any gear.

does the tubular k raise or lower the motor from the oem motor height position? if so, would this off kilter things and cause this sort of difficulty? the trans does not grind, and only has 12k on it. it has a spec 3+ clutch kit, but the gearbox did not have these characteristics before the install this past week. thanks!

I have the same k member and mine goes into gear just like it did before. The k member with supplied mounts lower it I believe 1/2" so your car could just be picky. I'm curious to what you find.

Our k-member lowers the engine 1/2". This is the first I've heard of anyone having shifting problems with our k-member and we've sold quite a few of them. You can call the shop at 561.588.6630 if you want to troubleshoot the install. We may have the 1/2" spacers in stock to put the engine back to the stock height.
