I've had motors go in cars I've owned but my car is no garaged kept show car. I like to race and do it as often as I can. My stock longblock let go after a year of beating on from a rod snapping. Thats also with running 10's on the stock drivetrain. I've had meth kit problems that has caused cylinders to load up and eat a piston. Nothing was ever tune related its all me and trying to get the most out of a combo.

Hey I'm still kicking around on my stock block. Hell Matt D isn't a tuner and tuned a much more complicated setup by himself. For those of us with more complicated setups we leave them in the hands of those that are used to working on them. I've been to mike ummmm lets count 2 times. The second trip wasn't becuase of driveability issues either. Mikes shop isn't a top notch shop from the outside, but he owns the dyno and he owns the software and he owns his tunes. He's a one man show, so for someone that knows how to install and tune I feel as if that person is more knowledgeable about the vehicle. Thats just how I feel. He's been very helpfull for me. Good luck with whoever you choose OP and let us know how it turns out!
