Well, when i email him it takes about a day or so for him to reply, he's on a different time zone and last i knew he was in Spain (home is in Venezuela). So he's pretty good at returning emails. It's been a challenge, that's for sure, but it should be allot of fun once it's done. Good luck bud!

When i say it's been a challenge I mean the install itself, not about working with Lito, he's been great.

Yeah I have no doubts about Lito. I just wasnt sure about the emails since he is traveling all of the time and figured time zones would come into play. Im hoping to start logging by the middle-end of January. Im trying to save up the rest of that money! haha

Yeah, I know all about that, lol. Hopefully i don't have much else I HAVE to spend. Lito's going to look at my log tonight, hopefully everything looks good to him and we can move forward.

He's had some things come up recently but nothing major. He emailed me a leaner tune, got it on the car, started right away, got a log and sent it to him last night, I'll change the oil and maybe take it for the first boosted drive on my next tune! I work tonight so i might have to wait till tomorrow.

Man that sounds like progress!

Just got my driving tune! He wants a wot pull in third till 4500rpm if the car stays running good. Holy crap, I've got to change the oil, double check everything, tighten up the sway bar...but first...lunch with my 6 yr little girl at her school.

Priorities in order? Check! Good deal, and good luck with the rest of the tuning process.

Just moved it around my yard to turn it around, and just revving it to about 3k rpm and it goes from 25vac to 5 vac, but doesn't build boost, bov doesn't sound off, this is not with the car under load. Is this normal? Is raining so I can't drive it right now, the front end is exposed. I still have the "high flow" cats in place, could that be the problem? Also, after the car warmed up, i checked the compressor blades and they spin freely, but there's a little bit of shaft play, doesn't touch the housing, it's very little but it's there. Any thoughts?

It wont build any boost just revving it up. No worries. As far as end play, everything with a shaft is designed with some sort of end play.

Ok, that's good to know, I just remember hearing all the imports popping their bov, guess is bcs the turbo is so small it spools fast and are made to run 12#s of boost stock? Other than that the car feels good, idles fine and starts right up.

No prob brother, I'm going back tomorrow and piss off the counter guy again, lol. For some reason, he didn't like selling them to me at that price.
Add that to my mod list, Valvoline VR1 Synthetic Racing oil, hahaha

Well fellas, I officially have a turbo Saleen! I changed the Mobil1 oil to some VR1 Racing Oil Synthetic, tightened the sway bar up, warmed the engine a but and went for a drive. Took it really easy and slowly picked up speed just to see how it felt. Then I went for it, sort of, @1/3 throttle, in second gear, built boost around 3200 rpm, went to @3psi and i let off. It was then that it became real, turbo spool sounds bas ass and the HKS BOV sound is pure sex. I had to go to work soon after that so I didn't get a log or do much else. Put the car away and went to work. There was some white smoke coming out of the engine bay and the turbo itself after the first drive, then went away for the second one. I still have a bunch of trim and front bumper to put back on and whatever else. So far I'm happy, can't wait for the wot pull & log. Thanks for the help everyone!
