Hi All, I found a good deal on Boss struts, shocks and Ford racing lowering P springs. The Struts are assembled with J&M Caster camber plates. I have an 07 GT Coupe. I noticed that C&C plates are year specific. I know that he is using the ones for an 11-14 v6/GT/boss 302. My question is, will the setup I'm buying work on my 07 gt? As in do i have to worry that the C&C plates are for an 11-14? I feel like I don't as they make them different due to the strut mount styles (please correct me if i'm wrong). Does anyone know if the boss struts or any 11-14 struts bolt up to 05-10 cars if we use caster camber plates for an 11-14 car? I cannot find any answers to this as everyone seems to be doing 05-10 struts with gt500 mounts on their 11-14 cars.

You should have no problem as everything bolts up the same. Same S197 chassis for 05-14. So many interchangeable parts.

You have to match the strut to the CC plate or strut mount, meaning the strut and the CC plate need to be from the same year range. I think it goes 2005-2010 and 2011-2014. So to use a 2005 strut in a 2012 you need the strut and strut mount from the 2005, and the same works in reverse.
