The pulley on it is already a 13lb pulley, which is really pushing it on a stock bottom end. You could go smaller with any Whipple pulley, but you better have the motor to handle it.

Yes, it's $1249.95, but a well worth it mod after you add up a few broken belts and tensioners. Not too mention that the boost is going to come on a lot harder than a stock setup. There are a lot of plusses to this kit, but it's obviously aimed at a certain user level.

That's a nice piece of work you boys put together. Looking at the parts involved I'd say that's a pretty decent price. It isn't cheap, but that's a lot of time and effort to manufacture, let alone cover the design work. It looks like a pretty bulletproof setup for those that want to play with the big boys!

Someone could always try building that themselves and then see if that price seems high.... sort of like all the people that have asked me if I would rewire their engine compartment.

My goal is to get the s/c pulley a bit forward so I can put the shaker scoop back on. One problem there though, the further the pulley goes forward - the less clearance it has with the hood.

I would seriously look at this if and only if you had a 16-18 psi pulley. Like a 2.6 diameter pulley. With 10 rib, I know there wouldn't be any slip, as I run GI Joe's 8 rib set up now with no slip.

Is the balancer SFI and is it a "good" balancer like an IW or ATI unit? That alone would be $380 right there.
