It looks like they weren't packed properly.

Oh I had pulled them out and looked at them. They were all wrapped up and bagged and then filler paper was on top to stop movement. No issues with them.

You got the itch to go faster too!?

Not necessarily. Just to not blow it up! But I'm not going to build it and keep it at 9 psi so I guess more power is coming with it! Haha

It was the original packaging as it came from Saleen too I believe. It had the Saleen stickers on the box with part number

You said you ordered boss connecting rods, do you know if they use the same rod bolts as the 4.6? I am having a hard time finding a part number for the 5.0 arp 2000 rod bolts.

I haven't ordered them yet but I plan on using the rod bolts it comes with. If they hold 800+ hp they will hold for me

Yea I figured it will be cheap insurance as I can get the rod bolts for a 4.6 rod for 90 bucks. Just need to know if they are the same.

Top secret mojo for the arp 2000s. I need to find out if they are the same or not though. If they are I can get you a set.

You can use the stock retainers if you go with the trickflow valve springs.

I went with the King high performance (noncoated) from modmax in my engine. Also have moly rings, the ones that come with the pistons should be fine for your goals.

These are my opinions, take them how you will.

Got a part number for the trickflow springs?
