My 3 month old and her graco rear facing car seat fits fine in my car and although the pass seat has to be moved up some my wife 5'3-5'4 fits fine in the pass seat and so does my daughter! why are you having so much trouble?

My wife is slightly taller than yours, and the back of the passenger has to be straight up. She has a back injury from a wreck a few years back so it makes it painful. Our car seat is chicco. I tried like hell to make it work. Her legs would barely fit between the dash and seat bottom. Idk why I was having issues. Might wait till he is 6mo old and try to get in a newer 5.0 or a used termi.

Get smaller friends!

Luckily my wife is quite petite, as she was usually the only passenger in my car when i had the baby seat installed.
