I would like to know if there is a way to remove the elbow on the crossover without destroying the elbow.
I hear these pieces are getting hard to come by. I will be removing heater connections etc..

I will probably make a run up to pull and save to see if i can locate the explorer version without the elbow.

lots of other nonessential parts are coming off- exhaust, cats, fuel evap, harness, ec... hate the throw this stuff out..

I also have 2 5r55 trans and converter in the PHX area if anyone is interested, drop me a line.

Welcome. I would gently heat and twist out. Also please understand that classified ads are not acceptable for new members.

I found a 5.4 water crossover that I may be able modify for my use at Pull N Save. $25
Will need to section, cap and add fittings

Still Looking for a 2008-2009 4.6 Explorer water crossover manifold.

I found a water crossover on a 2006 Exploder at Pull and Save in PHX.
Made sure i waited until late afternoon to work on a west facing car in 110 degree dry heat.
Didn't sweat a bit, It was too dry!
I was able to get the alternator bracket as well.

There was a early bug there as well. Pretty complete car. It has only been there a week.

I will be getting rid of the Mustang crossover. Don't need an extra.

Real race cars don't have heaters,
Brad.
