We Texans are taking over!

Yet another newb from TX here. I'm in Missouri City, a SW suburb of Houston.

While new to the board, I'm nowhere near new to Mustangs. I've loved 'em all my life, and this is the second one I've owned. My first was an '89 LX convertible...it was a blast until my twin sons arrived and I needed a larger car to haul them and all their stuff around in.

After admiring the '05+ models, I took the plunge Dec 31, 2008, and bought the one in the pics below. Almost a full year later she now has flowmasters, a shorty antenna, and about 12K more miles. So far I've enjoyed every single one of them.

Thanks one and all! I've been lurking since April, just never posted anything up. This particular board reminds me alot of another one I'm on, the ZRXOA (for Kawasaki ZRX'es). Same deal, they're all stricken with open wallet syndrome too...

I'm amazed at what all can be done with these vehicles. A buddy of mine likened them to Harley's - there's no shortage of aftermarket support, and watch out for choice paralysis...heh.

It's a slippery slope, modifying a Mustang. And, it's not my only obsession.

Welcome, the Performance White Cars are definitely taking over! Your car looks great. Choice paralysis is right on the money. I have been suffering it for months over wheels. Come Christmas we'll see if I have it worked out or not...

I couldn't imagine having time for three projects let alone the 3 jobs needed to get them all modded. Good luck with the car, I look forward to seeing it's progress. Hanging out around here will definitely inflict the mod bug on you worse than ever.
