You guys suck! I am buying this today, and I am going to love it. Who's got a discount code????:thumb:

Most places won't discount buffers due to their low profit margins.

I've read somewhere on here that Americana is pretty nice, but I am wondering if it's not the same as 50/50.

50/50 and Americana are not the same wax.

50/50 is a hybrid with silicones, Americana is a pure Carnauba. A lot of people feel Americana is actually Pete's 53.

Adam's and Chemical guys share the same formulations that come from Warner Chemical. It has been proven time and time again. I don't care what their forum reps state. Myself and detailers a lot better than me have all came to the consensus, that CG's parent company Warner Chemical manufactures for Adam's as well.

You can get the same product cheaper going the CG route.

Another company to look at that has strikenly similar product lines is Jorgen's Shine Shop.

Also Poor Boys is a CG re-label.

Go on CG's website and look into their private labling services.

Shhh, DD discounts everything! :D :beerdrink:

I don't think so. I have used Pete's 53 quite a bit prior to getting the tub of Americana from you. I have never had the issue of application and removal I did when I did my car with Pete's 53 like I did with Americana. There just can't be any way IMO.

Most likely could've been XXX then.

Buuuttt, if it does "have all dat", there may be an XP up for sale on here in a minute. Very tempting, I'm going do a little research.
The Flex is a superior tool, no doubt. I have it, the Griots 6in and the old style PC7424 (less umph than the XP).

If you can swing it, keep the PCXP. It has a role in your arsenal along side the Flex. You can use 3 or 4 inch pads on it. It seems to work better with the Megs Microfiber DA system than the Flex. And I like it better for wax application. You dont need a ton of power and forced rotation for wax.

Not a bad idea. It's not worth much anymore anyway, there new now for $130. I acutally paid more for it originally than I wound up paying for the Flex. I was fixing to donate it to a lesser cause.

I would never want to stand in the way of charity. If you know someone that needs it, of course - help a brother out. I have several friends that would consider themselves "lesser causes" if that meant they would get a PC.

Seriously though, it is nice to have both for the reasons I mentioned above. Also nice to have a backup in case the Flex would go down. They tend to have cord problems. They are easy to fix, but, would be a bummer to lose in the middle of a detail without a backup.

The new Flex is in, with 4 other boxes. (It does have all that):beerdrink:

I am like a crack addict when it comes to cleaning products.

Box 1 - Detailers Domain
Flex
Carry Bag
(8) Uber pads - they were offering them at like 2 bucks with the buffer

Box 2 - Zaino
Zaino AIO
Zaino 2 (restock)

Box 3 - Autogeek
(6) Smart Pads (gold, orange, blue white) (restock)
SIP (restock)
85rd
PB Wheel paste
Meguires Glass Cleaner
Sheepskin wash mit
(2) squirt bottles

Box 4 - Detailed Image
Natty's Blue
Power Lock
Optima Tire and Rubber
BFWD Sealant
(4) Cobra purple MF towels - (restock) these are my favorite

Most of this, I just wanted to try, and most is for something other than the mustang. I also ordered a bottle of Rejex (and an oil sep.)from Lethal for the new wheels.

Last week I restocked at Chemical Guys
Maxi Suds - good stuff
Green Clean - just like simple green
Clay Luber
Bug Soap
P40 Detailer - I like this stuff
(6) Squirt bottles

Last month ..... I bought the full Zaino line

I am not sure, but I think I have something else showing up from Chemical Guys and I hope to FUK nothing else. I am not sure, but I think I am broke. Need to get my head out of this section of the forum.

Thanks for the order. Most people aren't aware yet that we carry a complete line of detailing products. It's a new area of business we opened up to. So if there's anything else you need please feel free to give us a call. Speak to John as he's the expert with the detailing stuff.

Thanks again!
