I was looking on eBay and found walbro 450 for 134 dollars. I check the model number of 465 from lethal's site and it's the same. F90000267. Whats the difference?
Same pump just being called something different based on flow ratings/observations. It's the e85 warrantied version of the 405. You can call it a 430 pump as well if you like which is closer to what it really flows. It's a really big pump that pulls a lot of amps and a lot more with a bap, it can/could be done just wire the bap pre fpdm so the extra voltage isn't there all the time and upgrade the wiring everywhere to at least 10 gauge. It would make a bit of heat at the higher voltage though which can have a negative effect flow. What are looking to do with your fuel system?
Well Jeremy I currently have a stock hat with a 405 and wiring upgrade I bought from you guys. I was planning on sell the hat and the pump. Then I was going to do the same thing you did to your car as far as wiring goes. I am going to move the fpdm from trunk to quarter panel and drill hole holes through my old hat like yours to run the wires through. Also I have a bap that i was going to install on there. What I am on the fence about is to buy a 450 walbro or a 465 walbro. I was really hoping that they were the same thing since they had the same part number. Goal is 500 rwhp on E85. I know the wiring will be over kill but It give me something to do.
