Get a spydershaft!!!!!! and definitely line locs, since you go to the track often.

Welcome!!! Getting the driveshaft is a good call, IMO. You didn't mention your gear ratio...

What kind of ETs are you running?

thanks guys for the welcome... well i have having alot of trouble getting into 2nd and 3rd under WOT so i went with the CHE brace with torque limiters, i ran a best of 12.6 missing 2nd and 3rd cuz of it.. i recently put the limiters on and installed the che upper control arm.. hopefully my et's will drop now since in not have the WOT shifting problem.. going to the track this weekend to see what i can do... tring to get somewhere in the 11's
so my best time so far was a 12.6 with a 2.2 60 ft getting locked outta 2nd and 3rd lol

There is definitely room for improvement there. Get that down to 1.7-ish, and you'll be in the 11s easy. What tires are you running at the track?

what kind of gearing would u guys recommend with a 5speed centrifigul? o yea i have the stock 3.55 in there now
I say don't fear the gear... go for 4.10s!!

Did you try a good set of LCAs yet? That might help put down some more traction for lower 60' times.

He didn't say anything about having traction issues... so I was assuming he was hooking fine (especially with 28" DRs). And if he is hooking well, then the poor 60s are most likely due to a combination of gearing/tire size and launch technique.

i am running a M&H 275/50/17 on there for the track!

With those Go with 4.30s!

If it isn't a DD put some gear in that bitch. I run low 11s in mine with the 4.30s and 28 inch tire, plus on the street right at 2ish grand @65.

I doubt gearing issues would be the problem.

I was hitting 2.1s on stock OEM crappo 17s with 3.31 gears 500 miles out of the show-room while still getting used to the car. So, you'd think that DRs alone would get you into the sub 2s

yes i was having traction issues also, could not get a good burnout, had alot of wheel hop and as i said before it would not go into gear.. since i installed the torque limiters and upper control arm there is no lockout issue and no more wheelhop... so next nice day i will be at the track!!!!!

i was also thinkin about linelocks, which i think will help me alot...... anybody recommend a certain kit?

Also i think im gonna get a set of 4.10's, i will no longer fear the gear lol

4.10s for sure ( FRPP - 410A)
LCA/UCA to help your traction and wheel hop issues(Any top brand)
line locs will be huge help in your burnouts (get the PMP kit - IMO)

If your tracking the car a lot the Spec 3+ is a good choice ( i have it for about 600 miles now) - if your close to the track you can use the stock clutch for a while (so if it goes @ the track its not too far of a tow/trailer) they are pretty decent for durability.

Spydershaft also a great mod

eventually you'll need to upgrade the rear diff as well - Trutrak for that. if you can afford it, do it with the gears will save you some $ from doing them separately.
