What size radial for 4:56s?

I am thinking about a swap to 4:56s for this year. Right now I run 275 40 17s and 4:10s and trap right around 6000 so I need a taller tire. What are you guys running for 17 in rubber with 4:56s? I have seen 275 50 17s but I am afraid they are not quite tall enough.

the 275/40 is a 25.7" tire as where the m&h 275/50 is a 28" tire so i think you will be good with those thats over 2" diff either that or those mt's that are like 28.8"

I just swapped in 4.56's and put M/T 295/45-17's on for my combo this year. I havent ran it yet since those changes,BTW they are 27.2" tall.
