So right now I have the 07 GT, and the 97 F-250. The 07 gets 18city 26hwy which I'm happy with since it has 4.10's. The F-250 gets 15/19, and I think it can do better with a CAI and exhaust, or at least so I've read from diesel forums.

My question is, should just keep the 2 vehilces I have now, and DD the truck and mod the GT? Or sell the truck, and buy a fox, this time one thats in good shape and runs, and DD the GT.

If I could have all 3 I would, but I'm moving into an apartment when I get back and I may now have room for 3 vehicles.

Some will say leave them all alone and don't mod anything, but we all know I can't do that.

Also, goals would be different for each car. GT would be just 11's but reliably. Fox would be all out since it would be a project/weekend car.

Well, I have a 98 150 excab 4x4 with the 4.6 and it's my dd and I have a 07 GT I drive on the weekends and in nice weather.

The truck is as stock as the day it was bought and I've modded my GT with a supercharger.

So I'm guessing I have the best of both worlds and believe me you never know how much you use a truck untill you don't have one.

My recomendation is to keep what you already have, and mod both as time/budget allows. A. You would not have to sell anything and take the chance of loosing any money (if you still owe anything), and B. You will always have/find a need for a truck.

Get a tuner/tune for the diesel, and you would be getting better gas mileage out of that than you ever would on a modded stang. Plus, fast diesels are just plain badass. Good luck with your decision!

if i had to do it all over again id get a fox and mod it to a 9 sec ride and keep the gt as a street driven daily driver. It will cost a whole lot less to go that fast with a fox than it will with a s197

For a time all I had was my Mustang, the T-bird, and a '97 Ranger. That being said it kinda sucked not having a full sized truck. The Ranger was OK, but it was limited on what you could haul/pull, etc.

I'd say stick with what you have. The '97 body style trucks were pretty sharp and being a 3/4 ton with a 7.3 Powerstroke then it is even sweeter. Like the other guys once you don't have a truck you will be kicking yourself for not having one...

keep the truck. You never know when you might need to tow your stang or haul an engine/ or transmission etc.... I wished I had a truck when I stuck my TR6060 in my trunk. FYI, it will fit but will fuck up the carpet in the trunk.
