Wheel Whore advice needed

Id worry about 17x11 rubbing or even full contact with the bumpstop joyce. My 18x11 come really close (less than 0.25 in.) with about 2 to 3 inches of travel in rebound. Take out another half inch of wheel radius with the same barrel and i think the wheel would contact.
